Millions of little Conquina Shells make up this amazing beach ,in places the shells are 10 metres deep. The historical buildings were constructed with shell bricks made from these shells now they use the shells for repairs to these buildings or to create paths

Stromatolites

Stromatolites are colonies of micro-organisms found on earth 3.5 billion years ago, these fossils here are only about 3,000 years old. They grow well in here because of the high salinity in the water, calcium bicarbonate & the limited circulation of the water. They are only found in a few places in the world.
