25th Feb: Left Mooloolaba to Dulacca Stayed behind Dulacca Pub free stay:Met some interesting people....The guy who owns the pub has been here 8 months from Gold Coast,he bought the servo/chinese takeaway on ebay when he was drunk one night!!! now has the pub as well.Tyre blow out on the way but all good :)
26th Feb:Dulakka to Mitchell Lovely weather Not too hot Stay free camp Neil Turner Weir ,toilets no showers(we use a hose!) lots of flies/sand flies but lovely spot Gorgeous red sunset
27th Feb:Cannot get to Carnarvon Gorge roads are cut due to so much rain...more rain coming
28th Feb:Still @ the Weir decide to head up to Mt Isa through Longreach as Carnarvon Gorge is definitely out,we may be able to get in but won't get out
1st Mar : Mitchell to Blackall Rained on & off but still good travelling, thunder /lightening @ night
