The bells hail from Londons famous church,St martins in the field-Trafalgar Square...thebells of St Martins have been ringing to mark momentous occasions in history over the past 600 years...Defeat of the Spanish Armada 1588,Aaptain James Cook's homecoming 1771 World War II victories ...New Years Eve for 275 years also for Sept 11 & Bali bombings.The 12 bells of St Martins were given to Western Australia to commemorate Australia's bicentenary in 1988.These 12 bells were cast between 1725 & 1770.

A day in Perth

Perth is a lovely city on the Swan River ,we had a lovely day visiting the art gallery, museum, the Awesome Festival ,the Bell Tower & all the city sights.

Fremantle Festival Closing Parade

For the past week the Freo Festival has been on with all sorts of different events all over town. We went to the closing parade which was wonderful, it was great to see so many people having such a happy time.

Pavement Art...Before the festival they had a mass drawing exhibition where everyone had chalk & drew all over the roads & pavement ,it was such fun
