Our new venture

Wednesday 30th June
We have signed up for an exchange program called Helpx ,you stay(accommodation/meals etc) with host families for exchange for a few hours work each day, I am so excited! What a great way to meet new people/friends,go to places you wouldn't normally go,meet local people, find local spots to see & experience!Wow, Organic farms,Farms ,Stations, B & B's -beautiful places ,looks like alot of amazing & interesting people with interesting lives, artists willing to share their skills/experiences ! I can't wait. We have organised our first stay at Batchelor near Litchfield National Park & another on a cattle station on the Gibb River Rd in the middle of The Kimberley at the end of July.
Leave Darwin next Monday 5th July to Litchfield National Park. Bring it on........

Last week in Darwin

Sunday 27th June
Well our last week in Darwin...it has shall we say ...been interesting! We are very excited about moving on ,can't wait...our next stop is Litchfield National Park for a few days will be wonderful, then Kununurra The Kimberley Broome WA coast Wow...how exciting
Have had some massages/treatments here in the park which is great, Shane is still working on a job at a school in Parap, they have offered him more work but he is ready to move on, he will keep in contact for a job coming up down the WA coast.I have some contacts in Kununurra for massage work & thinking of doing some treatments at the markets there also
The weather is still hot but humidity is not as high , lots of grey hair nomads are filling up the parks, and guess where they are all headed? Yes! our way... so we will be on the camels arse of the Grey Haired Nomad Camel Train heading across the top.
It feels such a long way from home over there in WA!Away from those I miss & love:( That plays on my mind-the distance between airports is huge, Perth is it,unless in an emergency of course! I am also so excited to see all what is there, life is an adventure to explore!
