We didn't travel far ,just to Franz Josef Glacier...we did a heli-hike ,what a wonderful time we had,one of the highlights of our NZ trip.It was amazing ...a helicopter flight up to the glacier then 2hrs on the ice = brilliant!
The weather did not look great...bt it cleared!
Getting ready - you weren't allowed to wear jeans as they supply all the clothing...so here I am in my shorts and socks!
And then all geared up!
