Two Rocks- King Neptune & Friends

As you drive along you can see a huge statue of King Neptune , so we went to explore which intrigued me even more ....so as you do ….I googled it & found out it was a water theme park back in the 80’s ,quite popular with dolphin shows water slides & amusements... sadly due to law changes it was closed as it would have been very expensive to continue. I think it was well before its time & apparently the owners had amazing grand plans to develop it , it does feel like a forgotten dream & sadly it has been left to vandals & graffiti artists. Along with Neptune & his dolphins there are other sculptures just behind the shops these sculptures are also carved from the rock –these apparently tell the aboriginal dreamtime story of a huge winged creature that lives beneath the sea along with all the other characters from the tale.
