Shark bay - Monkey Mia

We were pleasantly surprised as it was not too crazy with tourists ,although we did choose to go in the afternoon after the feeding of the bottle-nosed dolphins (every morning @ 8.30am) was finished. I was not keen on lining up with flocks of people to be chosen to feed the dolphins. We saw some lovely spotted rays , dolphins & of course the emus. Monkey Mia is a place for researchers all over the world come to study, not only the dolphins but other marine life.The dolphins that come here are all named & identified by their markings on their dorsal fins,there are now 4th generation dolphins coming into visit & to be fed.
