Hughenden to Cloncurry

Sunday 21st March - 1 April

I have spent my time working massaging in Bliss Hughenden but Shane is bored out of his brain,he has done a floating floor & a days work for another guy renovating an old place ,he has been fishing in the rivers & he caught some crayfish for dinner,quite nice cooked in sweet chilli,garlic & cream ! Tastes like prawns/bugs

We went searching for Belemnites,fossilised sqid 100-150 million years old,we found some great pieces of tentacles

We moved behind the shop so it has been a lot better, so much quieter & not so many lights or roadworks,but we are excited to move on,it has been great to earn some money & meet the locals,there are some lovely people here,but it is time to move on :)

1st April :Drove to Cloncurry through Richmond 5hrs drive & are staying @ Gilbert Park Tourist Park

2nd April:Mt Frosty4WD Curcuit , took us about 8 hours, no signposts to guide you through,very tricky roads to drive with very steep ravines & bad wash outs, i was so scared I got out of the car in some spots :( But we had a great day & saw some amazing things . We even found some Maltese Crosses , rocks in the sahpe of the Maltese cross & only found a few places in the world, we got alot of little pieces but also some really good ones

3rd April: Cloncurry we will go to Mt Isa tomorrow. Rainy weather here & we hear roads are fllode up North but we are hoping,fingers crossed to still be able to go to Lawn Hill National Park on the 7th
