Tuesday 2nd March:Blackall to Longreach Rainy overcast day :( Saw 2 emus
Wednesday 3rd March: Longreach Cool but lovely day Stockmans Hall Of Fame Really enjoyed our visit here,all the history Nice coffee too!!! We spent 41/2 hrs here without realising the time
Thursday 4th March:Longreach to Winton 193km Lovely day not too hot Went to Bladensburg National Park ,drove the river gum route, saw lizards wallabies kangaroos emus lots of birds Lovely waterholes & gorges
Friday 5th March:Dinosaur Day....Lark Quarry 1.5hrs real dinosaur footprints preserved in stone Dinosaur Stampede then to Age of Dinosaurs where they collect ,clean & constuct dinosaur bones found locally 3 new dinosaurs Clancy Matilda & Banjo.really interesting place:)
Saturday 6th March: Winton-Hughenden-Porcupine Gorge National Park
Stayed at the Gorge what an awesome spot we are the only ones here! Gorge is amazing
Sunday 7th March:walk down to the gorge 1.2 km spend the whole day swimming in gorgeous clear waterhole playing in the rapids Wow what an amazing day All to ourselves we could stay here forever The climb up 1.2km of steep stairs AHHHHHH not much fun but what an amazing time
Monday 8th March I think I have sunstroke I am so sick :( sleep for over 3hours & feel so much better. We are both sunburnt !Lazy day @ Porcupine Gorge
Tuesday 9th March: Porcupine Gorge National Park - Hughenden Stay @ Alan Terry caravan park in town
Wednesday 10th March: Hughenden about 500 km either way to Townsville & Mt Isa
I have a job! Saw the girl that owns a little massage/beauty place in town @ 10am had my first client @ 4pm:) Robyn the owner is pregnant & very welcoming & friendly I have my own little room set up with all my things Its great Shane has some work coming up too so we will stay here for 5-6 weeks
